Trouser Braces Size Guide and Video Guide

Choosing the size of braces you require is not an exact science as it depends on many factors, including, your height, the fullness of your figure, your shape, the elasticity of the braces material and indeed the tension of the worn braces.

The below should be used as an approximate guide when choosing a pair of trouser braces from our range of braces for adults.

Please bear in mind;

  • We use good quality elastic, for controlled elasticity.
  • Braces sizes are generously cut.
  • All Braces can be shortened by using the slide size adjusters.

Guide On How To Measure For Trouser Braces / Suspenders:

The length of the braces required can be measured from the trouser waistband at the back, at the point where the braces will attach, up over the shoulder, and down to the trouser waistband at the front at the point they will attach on the front trouser waistband. (Diagonally in the case of X Shaped Braces).

If in doubt, choose a longer pair of trouser braces as they can be easily made smaller by use of the slide size adjuster, whereas a shorter pair can only be made longer by stretching the braces material uncomfortably longer.
