Having returned a cheaper set of braces to the supplier, I looked online, came across Gents Shop and decided to buy these. I have not worn braces for many years but with advancing age and diminishing backside, I needed something other than a belt to keep my trousers up. These have larger and stronger clips than those of my first purchase and while the Y-style are less easy to re-clip, I consider them a worthwhile purchase in all other respects.

I'm happy with these braces so far - so much more comfortable than a tight and ineffective belt. They seem well-made in UK but I feel the clips although effective seem a bit flimsy (made in China?).
Time will tell if they can stand up to regular use.
